City Museum

This enormous outdoor ball pit is more disconcerting than you might expect; it's really quite difficult to move around in it!  Here's Charlotte enjoying it:

Beaujolais Nouveau 2008

Beaujolais Night is a local holiday, and one of the highlights of autumn.

I photographed only a handful of the marvelous dishes we ate.

Duck "prosciutto," Parmigiano-Reggiano and melon

Escargot

Panini - roasted tomato sauce and pesto (tomatoes and basil from Celina and Jon's garden), mozzarella, mushrooms and artichoke hearts

Homemade mushroom ravioli in pesto sauce

Greek-spiced baked shrimp on a bed of mixed greens

Four courses went unphotographed (presumably because I was too busy consuming them).
